The 9grand Experience

This past weekend i had the privilege to work with some of the most talented artists coming out of Vegas and IE (The Inland Empire) California. In the pursuit to finishing our first mixtape together presented by 9Grand Clothing I took a few pictures of the sessions. Shouts out to 9G for the experience of a lifetime and Bob Phish for taking us in. Noel, Benny Boss, Lito Fresh and DJ Finyl... yall muhfuckers is dumb!!! Definitely made the strip something on some other shit ha ha!!!

First, we arrive in Upland at about 1130pm Friday night. We peeped the new winter/spring line and I must say, and can only say, that it is definitely something to look forward to. We head to Yardhouse, probably the only joint popping in the area. Be in mind me and Fresh was drinking the whole time up there so more drinks in our system led to one of the most interesting nights with the crew at Denny's.
We crash at Derrick's spot, much respect, and the next morning we headed to Bob Phish's studio in IE and again, had more drinks which pictured uptop is some imported shit called Modelo. It's pretty good and of course something ive never had before. Well the first session went well with a bunch of tipsy emcees on the mic.

Pictured here in the studio is Fresh, probably the most influential writer ive ever met, this kid doesn't stop. "Look i know i don't know you, but can you get the fuck out!" & Mr. Carter the brains behind the Carter jeans by 9Grand.

At last, we reach the end!! After starting early Saturday morning with a measly 8hour break in between to sleep and to take a late night trip to del taco we reach a weeks "end", we finish with the last verse to put down by Lito Fresh for the "Monster" track produced by DJ Finyl heavily influenced by Mark (9Grand Owner). We finished recording at about 830 but didn't finally leave until of course after Pills mixed the record and Finyl's anal and detailed edits to change the hi-hats which took about one whole hour to do. Naw, im playin, we had tech problems. But it came out to be one of the hottest tracks on the mixtape featuring Me, Phish and Fresh.
We finally reach home early Monday morning and begin the long wait to hear the final tape and what cuts made the tape.
