The disease is a cancer of the lymphatic system and is a rare disease that attacks children. Unfortunately my friend has been very sick and this Christmas we need to come together and help her and her family so they can pay for her medical bills and to also ensure that Elizabeth has an exciting Christmas as we all once had as children or even now!!! Jansport J x The Carry On Experience x Mixtape Review

Jansport J, out of Los Angeles, California. A true soul collector, meaning that the boy got soul god dammit! So, we have here a producer's mixtape and lately I've been getting a lot of these. As you can see, this is my first review on one, why? Well because the other producer mixtapes I've gotten sound like a 50 cent comeback. Jansport J brings a lot of inspired samples to his records, very soulful. Like hi-tek mixed with 9th wonder. He starts off with a real smooth record almost something like Murs would get on. The next track could have definitely been with another emcee. Most "non-listeners" would have cut the mixtape right there. But it picks up heavy with "Cold Hearted". A real ill record with emcees that bring the definition of substance to the record without being soft on the track. "Tales From The Hood" is real artistic i could see the picture being painted but the hook could have been a lil' more catchy. "The Choice is Yours" is my joint, nuff said. Jansport J really gives you a good vibe with this one. I would definitely rock with this in the car or ipod or both. A soulful classic. One thing i could tell J, add more breaks to your beats, sometimes they get a little repetitive but the chop of the samples were good. Switch the tempos up a lil, keep us on the edge. This tape is definitely an add to the collection. This is what we need LA!!! The man needs more collabos. Get at him after the jump!!!

Nique x D.O.P.E. pt 2 x Mixtape Review

Emcees now a days are extremely hard to find. A lot of them just put a few corny punchlines down and call it rap. Not bringing any substance to the table by any means. That changes when you listen to Nique, bringing you his forms and ideas out of Henderson, NV. His 2nd installment of D.O.P.E. brings you 10 tracks. Personally, i think he shouldof took a little more time and gave us more than 10 but when you want to drop it on your birthday. You do what you can. He starts off with a heavy "dipset" type of record for the intro with really quick wordplay. Almost witty. Really heavy on the heatmakers drum patters. If you were looking for a soulful return, do not take the record out of the cd player just yet, this is just the intro ladies and gentleman. Then he takes you directly to "That Purple", which quickly shifts to that new age 90's Cool Kids heavy bass and drum snap record if you will. Using lines like "I gotta sick flo, you think that your hip no/ ill leave you bluer than a bottle of some hypno//" . You can tell he is definitely inspired by Mickey Facts, Cool Kids, U-N-I, etc. using the 808 drum and timbaland and a lot of lower pitch changes. He does bring you a few soulful cuts with "MBK" & "When I See Her". Also, bringing genius features with Jay Starr (look out for her), Niff and myself. I say this mixtape is definitely an add to the collection. And like he speaks upon in the last track "Hear Me Out", like he said hear him out. His link after the jump. $2

Cool cool cool night. Murs came through in a limo and had nobody wit him but his moms!!! Some real genuine shit, came through the front not the back. Everybody was outside so he was like ..."what yall doin' outside, lets go in." Dude is as down to earth as you would want any of your favorite performer to be. Put on a a really chill show with "Dj Ipod". Yessir, my man ran his whole show with his ipod. shout out to Steve Jobs for makin' such a useful tool. After the performance there was about 100-150 in attendance and my man Murs stayed and hit everybody up to the last person. Towards the middle i get a txt from my boy Bryan, owner of Clarity Clothing, he was like yo theres a cipher outside. So i went out like usual and promoted and tore up the cipher. T.I. Paper Trail Quick Review

I'm sort of pissed, I found out after i bought the album that iTunes was giving 2 extra bonus tracks. Oh well, the artwork is something amazing to check out. I wasn't surprised that this album had me head noddin in the whip, the production is crazy, the south is definitely doing their thing. Dj Toomp gave T.I. a nice platform to start everybody off with "56 Bars" that led to "I'm Illy". I wasn't really feeling "I'm Illy" too much the hook was kind of corny. The beat was insane tho, by Chuck Diesel. Of course Drumma Boy did his thing and pulled in for T.I.P. with "Ready For Whenever" which got me hooked. After that record, trust me you will be hooked on the joint especially because the next joint got a feature with Ludacris. I think Luda could came harder but this is about T.I. Just Blaze surprised me with the Rihanna featured with "Live Your Life" T.I. again came in and put in his heart and Rihanna sounds just like she looks. Beautiful. 'Whatever You Like" probably has the illest/cleanest bass line to bump in stock cars with production credits to Jim Jonsin. The collection of tracks really takes you inside T.I's world. I could tell you that you could'nt tell it was Usher on the hook with "My Life Your Entertainment" which i think had the catchiest hook out of the whole album. "Swing Your Rag" = Swizz Beatz, Monster! Make sure you peep "What's Up What's Haapnin'" see if you can find out who he's taking shots at, i think we all know tho, but he really put "him" in his place. The John Legend Track "Slide Show" is definitely a record you would not expect T.I. spittin too. Doesn't really have a southern bell to it. T.I. finishes strong with "Dead & Gone" featuring and produced by Justin Timberlake. T.I. really took you to another world with this album, he really let you into his mind his thoughts and didn't make it seem like he needed sympathy especially with had happened to him within the past year. This album is a recommended purchase. So head to best buy for you cats who like peeping the album artwork in full effect or if you want those 2 extra bonus tracks peep it on iTunes.

Murs For President Quick Review

First of all, i'd like to start off saying that TI had the best product placement at Best Buy. I went there at about 830pm and it took me about 25 minutes to find Murs' brand new album. Why? They had it located on a small rack a the very back of the country section of best buy. C'mon people, Murs is dope too!

Anyway, Im'a start doing these quick reviews just to let people know how, I, an artist, thinks. The intro was real catchy, different and fits the theme of the album. Anyone could of thought of that, but moving into the next track with 9th wonder backing his vocals with "I'm Innocent" which gives you the classic sound of Murs and 9th Wonder together like before. Im not going to get into all the songs cuz im not a reviewer but overall, the album was put together well as far as tracklisting and the production sounds real tight like they had all the producers in one room working on it and banging out records to fit the album. Will.I.Am, Knottz and Terrance Martin contributed to the album. It has a everything you need if your looking for that conscious emcee that has substance in every song he put out even in track 3 "Lookin fly". So if your out and about go cop the album!!! He'll be at Zia Records Las Vegas tomorrow at 6pm. Check his site after the jump.

For those of you that don't know, Rwanda was facing genocide in the 90's and Medgar Evars was a civil rights activist in the 60's who was assassinated and it took the state of Mississippi 25 + yrs to put the assassinator in jail. Most anticipated single out of Mr. West. Personally i think Kanye need to stop this singing stuff and get back to rapping like College Dropout. I know people mature with their music and experiment new ideas, but c'mon jo College Dropout was illmatic. I don't think his albums been grading down but they haven't been classic status to me.

On a positive note, this song has a lot of meaning and substance. The production is crazy and format of the song is creative. The singing might grow on me but for now maybe one verse could of helped. But that's me.

Tony Stickums, i dont know how he got in, but the dude is Mr. V.I.P. for real. Dude came in from Queens and took over vegas in a heartbeat. Anyway, i don't have any actual pictures because my phone died minutes before my show at the box office which if yall didn't see it, fuck it yall missed out, the best performances box office has seen.
